Title:Clear Aligners Redefining Dental Implant Prosthetic Restoration

Presenting a novel perspective on optimizing dental implant prosthetic rehabilitation by harnessing the potential of clear aligners. This presentation delves into a realm of challenges, including collapsed bites, over-eruption of opposing teeth, molar impaction in extraction sockets, tipping of adjacent teeth, inadequate overjet for anterior implants, increased overbite, and reduced interarch space. Traditionally, fixed orthodontics and intentional root canal treatments have been viable solutions, but patient reservations have inspired us to explore alternative avenues.

Clear aligners offer a discreet, comfortable, and patient-friendly approach to address these challenges. Despite being a well-established orthodontic tool in Western countries, their introduction to the Indian dental landscape over the past five years presents exciting possibilities for innovation. Clear aligners circumvent the discomfort associated with enameloplasty and resonate with patients seeking inconspicuous orthodontic correction.

This presentation will showcase real-life case studies exemplifying how clear aligners serve as an adjunct to prosthetic rehabilitation. Through these cases, we illustrate their effectiveness in restoring collapsed bites, mitigating over-eruption, optimizing molar positioning, preventing tipping, and creating the required overjet and interarch space for anterior implants.
