Dr. Shallen Verma, Specialist Dentist, Periodontist and Implantologist , who has over 30 years of experience, was in Panel of Doctors responsible for providing Dental Care to Prime Minister and President of India. He was awarded “Distinguished Medical Specialist”, in Individual Specialist category, in Health Awards, 2018, held under auspices of DHA and Thumbay group. He was conferred with “Most Loved Dentist Award” for the Year 2010 in whole of UAE and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. He has specialized training in Implants from Germany and Brazil and specializes in Implantology, Bone Grafting and Plastic periodontal Surgery with special interests in TMD cases and laser assisted dental procedures.

He also specializes in Laser assisted dental procedures from Germany. He is having Diploma in Orthodontics from international College of neuromuscular Orthodontics and Gnathology, Italy. He has done MBA in Healthcare Services from Sikkim Manipal University. He has vast experience in General Dentistry as well and is well versed with all aspects of Dentistry. He has done many scientific presentations and contributes regularly to scientific journals and writes articles in various magazines. He is also a Fellow of International congress of Implantology and was also conferred the honorary Fellowship of International College of dentists, which is a global body to recognize outstanding dentists working for benefit of mankind.  Recently he was conferred with honorary Fellowship of Academy of Dentistry International

Also recently he was conferred a “Life time achievement award” in Italy for being included in cohort of world top  100 doctors of  year 2022.

Also, he has appeared in a number of radio and television interviews. He is very active scientifically and a regular speaker at national and international conferences.

Understanding the impact of bruxism on the long-term stability and survival of dental implants is crucial for successful treatment outcomes. Moreover, the influence of systemic factors, such as osteoporosis, diabetes, smoking, and stress, on this relationship warrants careful investigation. By examining the existing body of literature, this presentation sheds light on the mechanisms through which bruxism affects implant success and explores the role of systemic factors in exacerbating or mitigating these effects.
