Dr. Syed Salman Ali is an Oral Implantologist and Dental Surgeon with more than a decade experience in the field of dental implant Surgery and prosthetics along with a various GBR procedures, currently based in Riyadh. He is a Key opinion leader for various Dental Implants companies and is the Head of Training and Education for TRI SWISS IMPLANTS KSA. He is associated with Dorrat Aram Dental Training Academy Saudi Arabia and is Scientific Advisor and Head of Dental Implant program. He is an ebullient trainer and adopter of digital technology and has mastered the art of guided surgery, 3D printing and CAD/CAM technology. He is keen into dental implant research as well and is an associate researcher in King Saud University (Bio-material Department).His BDS is from Terna Dental College New Mumbai and he completed his Post Grad Diploma (University of Warwick) in Dental implants from UK.

Title: Solving the Implant’s Rubik's Cube

Abstract- Dental implants provide completely edentulous and partial edentulous patients the function and esthetics they had with natural dentition. It is critical to understand and apply predictable surgical principles considering the bone as well as tissue when treatment planning and surgically restoring edentulous spaces with implants. This lecture will define the basic implant concepts that should be meticulously followed for predictable results when treating patients and restoring dental implants. Topics include biological and functional considerations, biomechanical considerations for bone, implant and prosthetics preoperative assessments, medical history and risk assessments and general treatment planning options. Digital technologies and its applications for more predictable treatment.
