Graduated in dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry, Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 1988 receiving the ‘Best-outgoing student – Gold Medal’ & completed his Masters Degree in the speciality of Prosthodontics from R.Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata in 1993.

Received the “ Diplomate in Oral Implantology“ from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), New York, in 2003, one of the first dentists from India to achieve this at that time.Completed the Fellowship & Mastership in TMD, Oro-facial pain & Dental sleep medicine (Roseman University, USA) and is now a ‘Diplomate of American Board of Orofacial Pain’ in 2023, one of the very few such specialists in the country.

Received the ‘Distinguished Aluminus’ award from Annamalai University in 2022

He has been a Member of Dental Council of India.
